StarStarStarStarStar Wow, just WOW!!
User: Nick Stanbery, Feb 20, 2009

Pros:  It has a super long life.
Cons:  Your phone gets a phat butt.

The Q Depot got this to me fast, really fast. Came with everything listed and is charging now. I am thouroughly satisfied as this is like 3 time the size of the battery that I have now. WHich I have to throw on the charger like 5 times a day. So thank you for freeing me from the bindings of the charger for just a lot longer than normal. I look forward to lots of phoneplay and talk time!!

THANK QDEPOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
StarStarStarStarStar Big but necessary
User: IT Person, Jan 4, 2008

Pros:  Lasts 2-3 days... doesnt burn out in two weeks...
Cons:  takes a while to charge fully and a bit heavy

Worth the money. 2/3 the price of Alltels extended 1550 model which is only 1/2 of this ones juice. Slightly larger than the OEM extended, but hardly noticable. Makes this phone as usable as ever other mobile phone.
StarStarStarStarStar exactly what you expect

Pros:  amazing battery life
Cons:  a bit bulky, but that is expected

I was so sick for my phone dying all the time with the regular battery. I decided no more. I knew the battery had to be big at 3200 milliamps per hour. But my stock battery was 880 mAh. I received to product on Thursday, charged it up, and now it is Monday and I still have 3 bars. Under power management it has gone down maybe 1/5th of the way. This battery is great. If you like the slim look and feel of the Q then this battery isnt for you, and you should know what. If you hate spending money on gas.... then get rid of that V8 SUV.
StarStarStarStarStar Must Have for Heavy Users
User: Jason Baron, Nov 20, 2007

Pros:  Excellent Battery Life
Cons:  Size (to be expected with HUGE capcity)

This battery is a must-have for the Q. The 1100 mAh battery that ships with the Q is completely inadequate for powering this phone. The extended battery offered by Motorola is barely an upgrade. I say, if you are going to buy a battery that sticks out of the back of the phone, it may as well be one that actually gives you more talk time. It may be larger than any other extended battery, but if battery life is important to you more than anything, this is the battery to get.
StarStarStarStarStar It's worth it.

Pros:  Great capacity
Cons:  Size

This battery is a beast. Its great on power but clumsy when using to talk for long periods of time. I knew this going in and accept it. I use Blue tooth anyway so I don't really notice. If you don't want to be tied to a charger 5 times a day then this is for you. For a case that fits I modified "cut out" the battery portion of the "Rugged" rubber case for the Q and it is now completely protected for those who need a case.
StarStarStarStarStar Best Motorola Q battery
User: Lora McClamrock, Jan 12, 2008

Pros:  holds charge well
Cons:   a bit thick

This is the third battery I have purchased for my Moto Q. The second one, a Motorola extended life battery started losing charge much more quickly than the original Motorola battery. I was hesitant to use a Seidio battery at first because I was afraid I would void the warranty on my phone. The warranty has now expired, and this battery holds a charge over twice as long as the Motorola extended battery. The Seidio battery door fits just fine. Please note that it does not fit into the holster face out. Face in it fits just fine! No trouble with the phones operation at all. Do yourself a favor - buy Seidio to begin with!!
StarStarStarStarStar Defeats the purpose!
User: Frederick Nelan, Feb 27, 2007
This battery is huge. The purpose for buying this particular smartphone was for its slim design and light weight. Putting this battery on it made it impossible to fit in a case, leaving it open to the elements. It is also very heavy and ackward when carrying. The door sticks out like a sore thumb, being that it is a completely different color.

If you want to protect your device, stick with the original battery and buy a car charger because as of yet there is no case that will fit with this battery on. I will be returning this battery.
StarStarStarStarStar Got the wrong one...
User: Mike W, Nov 22, 2007

Pros:  Few
Cons:  Lots

I have the Seidio 2100mh battery which I love (and was the biggest aftermarket battery on the market at the time) and thought I was ordering that one to replace another users dying Extended Run OEM Motorola battery. When the thing showed up, I tried to put it in in the battery charging pocket of my OEM Q cradle and it didnt fit (which is odd, since the 2100 does) and then I put it in, and put the Seidio cover on and it wont fit in the front part of the cradle either....At that point I realized Id ordered the wrong one and gave it to a friend of mine who doesnt have a cradle and needs the talk-time.

The battery is heavy but Im sure your mouth will fall off or youll end up with brain cancer before this thing fully charged goes dead on you...

Again, the Seidio 2100 fits into the battery pocket and front charger on the OEM cradle with no issues as well as uses the OEM extended run battery door whereas the 3200 does not, and uses an aftermarket battery door.

StarStarStarStarStar Door doesnt fit!
User: Ryan Headley, Aug 21, 2007

Pros:  the battery is great.
Cons:  the door wont close over it.

I at first thought this was just a fluk, but after receiving a second battery and door, I have determined that the door that comes with this battery does not fit. It will latch, but the sides are bulging out, leaving room for entrance of dust or pocket lint, and any other number of things that dont belong in the battery compartment. I dont mind the size of the battery, at least for the trade of in power, but when you spend $60 on a battery and door, you expect that the door (the part that only costs a fraction of a cent to produce) would be the correct size.
